Emily Pedersen Makes Her Debut In The Saudi Ladies Pro-Am

Emily Pedersen makes her debut at the Saudi Ladies International Pro-Am! Through the Jeddah Ladies Golf Association she will travel to the Riyadh and Jeddah championship courses in Saudi Arabia for this new professional venture. The 28-year-old California native has been on the pro-tour for the past seven years. She won the Nike Women’s Open in 2016.

Jeddah Ladies Golf Association’s Chairman, Captain Saleh Al-Rafaei explains that the Saudi Ladies Pro-Am was formed in 2016 to introduce professional golf to the Saudi Women. It is a full-time professional competition where there is full-time competition for the winner and overall scoring is equal for all competitors. Al-Rafaei says the Jeddah Ladies golf association hopes to host the Saudi Ladies European Team Championship.
